First plan

Hey ! I haven't posted here in a long time, and that is cuz I haven't made any game in a long time. But I'm bac with a new project called "CATABASE", which is basically what "DRASIL" became for those who remember that old prototype. I kept some of the desing elements of DRASIL and put them in this game that, I hope, will be appreciated.
For now, it is but a demo with three full areas (cursed trenches; profanators' keep; and sunken hamlet) + one that is still a WIP (where the losts rest) but will be finished soon. I'll post another demo once that one are and the cathedral's roofs and then there will be no more update until the game is finally done.
What you can see on the map are all the areas that I'm sure of doing. Others might be added in the future if I feel like it, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
That's all for now, hope you'll like the game !

Howdy! My friend played this game and I decided to play it too!
I liked the game overall and I think it will be really good. I wonder if the map will be a bit more interconnected, I liked getting a bit lost on this game exploring more and according to the map is kinda linear on some parts. I hope Abel will has more skills especially at the beginning of the game and they will be more distinct (for now every skills seems just “a strong normal attack”, without much strategy), BP will be used better (if you are too strong, you won’t gain much BP, if you are weak you will have too much BP to care about the cost of the skills) and you can avoid enemies without fighting them everytime.
Also, magazines are weird, because I thought bullets were rare, but you can refill them in the station without using them, in fact they are better if sold, since you can break the game (one small magazine costs 6 sins, but if sold 25 sins) and nothing for boosting BP, for example.
Even a better variety of enemies can help improving the game. For the rest, you are doing a really good job, congratulations! Have a good weekend and let me know when you will update the game!
First of all, thank you for your comment ! I'm glad you enjoyed the game in its current state and hope you will like it when it's finished too.
I wasn't aware of the magazine exploit but I know what caused it, so that will be patched in the next demo. As for your other remarks, I take them into consideration too ! I agree with you on most points, especially the combat that really isn't that fun right now, I need to spice it up obviously, but I hope I'll be able to. As for the map, I have already made a few changes to the first version that is linked to this post, so it will definitely be more interconnected and maze-like in the end.
Either way, thanks again for letting a comment, it means a lot !
Sure, you will definitely manage to improve combat adding more skills and depth! For example I saw you put some items like the one which break blocks, that can be useful even on combat if you think about it.
I can’t wait to see more of your game, but please take your time making it, don’t rush and stay well and happy during the process.
Have a good day, thanks for everything!
